  • As the first member of staff l can only say it has l see it, l know this place has made a difference to many whether it’s coming for coffee and a friendly chat or one of many classes and activities.

In the time I have worked at the centre I have met some lovely people which make this place a happy sociable place to work. All of which without our trustees none of this would have been possible.

  • Thanks for accommodating our Active Weight class over the last 10 weeks. This was by far the best class in terms of weight-loss that we have ran and speaking on behalf of Paula (who is on annual leave the moment), she really enjoyed the company of everyone who attended and made it such an enjoyable class! Hope you to use your facilities again in the future.

  • I like attending the U3A Coffee Mornings because it’s a wonderful local opportunity to socialise with fellow senior citizens from this area.

It’s great to have a suitable venue in which we can meet, chat over a cuppa and test our knowledge (not Google!) in the team quizzes, if so desired. Mainly, it’s enjoying one and others company. It’s a weekly tonic/pick-me-up that’s good for all.

  • I just want to say a huge thank you for once again allowing us to use your community centre over the summer holidays, to provide emotional health and wellbeing sessions for the young people who are referred into our service. As a charity based organisation ourselves, your centre is an invaluable provision (for us) within the West Lancashire areas, as we seriously struggle to find any ‘free’ venues within the Tarleton area to deliver our much needed support for the young people within your catchment area.

I have always found your committee members to be extremely accommodating and very helpful and supportive, this has also been said in the feedback received from those families we help/support, who all say that having access to something local (instead of driving further afield) is immensely beneficial.

This is our second summer using your venue and I truly hope that our arrangement continues in years to come.

  • This is a popular and well used community centre, which has an important role to play in social cohesion and is making a difference for the many who live in Tarleton, Hesketh Bank and Banks.

  • I know that your Centre is one of the prides of West Lancs, and that is as a result of all of you and the hard work you put in to get it to that point.
